DOGS At MOSTLY MUTTS – A FUN AND HELPFUL GUIDE TO EVERYTHING MUTTS

Hi and a friendly woof woof from Mostly Mutts!

Mostly Mutts will help you in understanding the different breeds and choosing a dog that is just right for you.  We are all about mutts but each mutt has a combo of breeds.  Are you interested in dogs that will fit in with your apartment lifestyle or perhaps you live in the country and want a dog that loves lots of room to run? Maybe you’re trying to find out what are the best dogs for kids. Do you love to run and want to find a dog that can be your jogging buddy? Or perhaps you like nothing better than collapsing on the sofa at the end of the day to watch tv or read. We have dogs for that! Then, after you have decided that dog adoption is right for you, we will be here to help with names and information on illnesses, care and training. Our goal is to help you enjoy a long happy relationship with your canine friend.

We love mutts, hence, our name, but we also love purebred dogs. We believe every dog deserves a warm loving home whether he has a mile long pedigree or his only paperwork is the newspaper on your floor. You’ll find fun and helpful information on both at Mostly Mutts.

We encourage you to avoid backyard breeders and pet stores. There are unfortunately plenty of mutts and purebreds available from dog shelters and rescue groups. And, responsible, breed- specific dog breeders do exist. Just do your homework first to find a breeder that genuinely cares about their dogs and maintaining the health and integrity of the breed.
Are you a new dog owner? Considering becoming a new dog owner? Or, perhaps you’ve had dogs as part of your life forever.

Whichever of these titles fit you, Mostly Mutts is here to provide fun and helpful information and answers to your canine questions.

Here at Mostly Mutts, we know dog guardianship comes with much joy but also with many challenges and decisions.

We are here to help you find the right answers with helpful information on:

Whether your buddy is a purebred or mutt, living happily with him requires lots of knowledge, understanding, patience and love. You supply the patience and love and Mostly Mutts will help with the knowledge and understanding.

Your dog will give you tons of joy but there will also be moments of frustration. With the right knowledge, you will be able to see the situation through the eyes of your dog. It may make no sense to you why your dog eats poop or tears your house apart while you are away, but your dog has, in his mind, a perfectly good reason. Maybe not an acceptable reason to you, but we’ll help you to understand why he does it and how to stop it.

A knowledgeable owner is a happy owner. Together we can assure you enjoy a long, healthy, happy relationship with your dog.
